"Emma Rose" is based on my original drawing and is reminiscent of the American Folk Portraits of the 19th century. The model was stitched using DMC floss, Weeks Dye Works floss, and Mill Hill glass seed beads over two threads on Wichelt Import's 28 count Raw Linen. DMC conversions are also included in the key.

"Sophie" is based on my original drawing and the sampler is reminiscent of the French spot samplers of the 18th century. The model was stitched using Kreinik Milkpaint Silk Floss, Kreinik #4 Very Fine Metallic Braids, and Mill Hill glass seed beads over two threads on Wichelt Import's 28 count Hand-dyed Queen Anne's Lace Jobelan. DMC conversions are also included in the key.
